Permanent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a renewable energy department.
Our Dublin based law firm client currently has a permanent opportunity for a junior Commercial Property/Energy Solicitor to join their renewable energy department.
Responsibilities:
Providing advices on the following:
- representing financial institutions and property developers in conducting relevant legal due diligence
- providing clients with advice on a full range of property rights associated with wind farm construction
- negotiating and drafting applicable contracts for major renewable energy projects
- acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- drafting and negotiating high value commercial leasehold agreements
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor possessing relevant experience (1-3 years PQE will be considered)
- Experience in a range of commercial property related matters
- Competent drafting, reviewing and amending commercial leases, deeds of surrender, deeds of variation, heads of terms, side letters and license agreements
- Must possess some previous experience in or exposure to wind energy projects/transactions in particular (even specialist knowledge gained from a course will be considered)
- Excellent technical and drafting skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results working to tight deadlines and showing good commercial judgement
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Self motivated and possess an ability to work on own initiative while working as part of a team
